Why the class levels?

At Rebel – Howe Sound CrossFit we take your health and wellness seriously. We believe that fitness requires a long term development plan. We understand that individuals develop at various rates and require an individual approach to fitness. Our 3 levels of programming are uniquely designed to prepare you for success, week after week, month after month, year after year.

Our unique programming levels are as follows:

Helping hand

Fitness (Level 1):

This program is focused on learning, practicing and perfecting technique. The focus is maintaining strict movement patterns, developing strength and coordination safely and effectively. Increasing mobility and stability are a priority before adding in intensity.

The Fitness level will teach you how to move correctly with full range of motion.  You will gradually add in the appropriate strength and skills pieces while you adapt, with the guidance and direction of your trainer. This level is important to create a solid foundation while you learn. This level is best for those just starting out and great for anyone that is focused on perfecting the basics, building a solid foundation before adding advanced skills and weightlifting.

Performance (Level 2):

This program is the most broad and inclusive level of training at our gym.

Once your body has adapted to the proper amount of stimulus and you and your trainer are satisfied with your development. Then you are ready to advance your training to the next level.

Performance level is where you learn more about barbell movements, higher skill gymnastics and how to incorporate them into a conditioning program. This level is best for those with 3-6 months of experience and training 3+ days per week.

Sport (level 3):

If you are interested in competitions either in CrossFit or Olympic Weightlifting then the sport level is for you.

Sport level is programed for those with extensive  Olympic weightlifting,  and CrossFit experience.  This level is best for those interested in turning fitness into a sport. This level is best for those training 5+ days per week.

Where do I fit in?

If you don’t know where to fit?? …don’t stress.  We have years of experience screening and testing to determine your unique progression strategy.
